The idea. It all started in 2020, when founder Tommaso Signorini, while shopping at the supermarket, received a paper receipt over 30 centimeters long for the purchase of just two items.
The research phase. The problem proved to be real, first in terms of environmental pollution caused by thermal paper and second in terms of high costs for supermarkets.
UX Design is born. H-Farm College's Digital Management program guided the founder through the process that would transform an idea into a real business plan. Scontree launched H-Farm's innovation pre-acceleration program, which would validate the idea and bring it to the UX Design phase of the finished product.
/2024: Artificial Intelligence. The founder uses artificial intelligence for programming and applies what he learned in his Business Information Systems course to develop software compatible with large-scale retail checkout systems, starting with the user experience.
Publications. The iOS and Android apps are released on the App Stores.
Cloud Test. Scontree is operational, serving 9,000 large-scale retail outlets and guiding them in the transition to universal digital receipts.
