How do I register?
The cashier will issue a paper coupon with a QR code to download the app. Once the app is downloaded, the user must enter the code on the coupon, and the first receipt will appear in the app.
What does a registered user need to do to receive digital receipts?
Registered users don't need to do anything; receipts arrive automatically after payment.
What is the price of the Scontree service for large-scale retailers?
The app is and will always be free for users. The price for large-scale retailers is €19.90/month/checkout.
Why should I choose the Scontree service?
Because Scontree offers large-scale retail customers the simplest digital receipt experience. After initial registration, customers receive a receipt in the app for each payment. Neither the customer nor the cashier needs to do anything to send/receive the receipt. It's automatic for everyone, forever.
What do I need to register?
Scontree does not require identifying information such as first name, last name, or email address. Scontree is an anonymous infrastructure designed to protect privacy and the purchase data contained in receipts.
How does Scontree use customer data?
Scontree uses customer data exclusively for the purpose of improving service.
Does Scontree share data with third parties?
Scontree does not share or sell user purchase data to third parties. The data is private and anonymous.
How does Scontree respect customer privacy?
Scontree was developed to handle anonymous data. Scotree does NOT know any identifying information about users, such as their first name, last name, email address, phone number, date of birth, etc.
How does the free trial work?
For 30 days, supermarkets interested in trying Scotree can use the service at 900 checkout locations. After 30 days, they can decide whether to extend the service to all their stores or cancel for free.
